Christmas Granola

We love cooking this Granola as it makes the whole house smell like Christmas! It is quick and easy to make and brings a touch of Christmas to breakfast time whilst being healthy and so delicious.


75g Pumpkin Seeds

50g Sunflower Seeds

50g flaked Almonds

50g Craisins

50g Dried Apricots, sliced

40g Sesame Seeds

40g Hazelnuts, roughly chopped

1½ tsp Cinnamon

1½ tsp Mixed Spice

Zest of 2 Oranges

55g Organic Coconut oil, melted

1-2 tblsp Maple Syrup

Preheat fan forced oven to 180°C and line a few baking trays with baking paper.

Weigh all of the dry ingredients into a large bowl and give it a good mix. In a separate bowl mix the melted coconut oil and the maple syrup and add this to the dried mix. Stir well until all the ingredients are coated.

Put a thin layer onto each baking tray and put in the oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and well toasted. Allow to cool on the trays and then transfer to an airtight container. Store in the pantry for a month.
