Blueberry Chia Jam

Gluten Free, Nut Free, Refined Sugar Free & Vegan

What is fantastic about this Blueberry Chia Jam made with Red Tractor Chia seeds, is that is only takes moments to make, it is refined sugar free and you can decide to whizz it up in the food processor or leave it chunky!


Ingredients

2 cups Blueberries (can use mixed berries or raspberries, and fresh or frozen)

2 tblsp freshly squeezed Orange Juice

2 tblsp Red Tractor Chia Seeds

1-2 tblsp Maple Syrup (depending how sweet you like it. Can replace with honey)


Put the blueberries and orange juice into a pan and gently heat. When they are soft use a potato masher or a fork and mash the blueberries, depending on the texture you like. Heat to reduce the liquid slightly. Then add the Red Tractor Chia Seeds and the Maple Syrup and combine.


Pour into a sterilized glass jar and allow to cool before putting the lid on. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
